The Bosnian 500 dinar banknote, issued in 1992, features a remarkable design. On the obverse, the national coat of arms and the inscription “Narodna Banka Bosne i Hercegovine” (National Bank of Bosnia and Hercegovina) stand out, while the reverse shows a guilloche pattern and the phrase “Republika Bosna i Hercegovina” (Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina) Herzegovina). Measuring 120 x 58 mm, this note was printed during the siege of Sarajevo, reflecting the turbulent historical context of the time.
