The 5 euro “Portuguese Modernism” coin, issued in 2016, celebrates the impact of modernism on Portuguese art and culture, paying homage to movements and figures that marked the beginning of the 20th century. Made in 925 silver (proof), it is limited to 7,500 pieces.
