Description

The 1982 Portuguese Escudo coin is made of copper-nickel and has a diameter of 23 mm. On the obverse, it presents the value “1 Escudo” with an armillary sphere, symbol of Portugal. On the reverse, it shows the national coat of arms with the date “1982”. It is a historic piece, issued before the introduction of the Euro.
