Description

The 2017 Brunei 1 Sen coin was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s accession to the throne. It weighs 1.78 g and has a diameter of 17.78 mm. It is made of nickel-brass, with a fluted edge and has a limited edition of 3,000 copies, making it rare and sought after. The obverse is inscribed with the sultan’s name, while the reverse displays “Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam” and the Payung Diraja (a royal symbol).
