Description

Pakistan’s 50 Rupee coin, issued in 1977, was created to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the country’s independence (1947-1977). Made of silver, the obverse features the crescent and Islamic star with “Islami Jamhuria Pakistan”. On the reverse, it features a commemorative design with the inscription “25 Years of Independence”.
